I Want My Old Icons Back!!

I uninstalled dbpowerAMP Ver 2 and installed Beta Ver3 Rel 6. All went well except somewhere in the process my music file icons in Explorer and in MMC all changed. I did not like (ugh). Could not get them back even though in the Config menu under both the File Assn menu and the Install option menu my lovely old gold record with little note in corner was still a choice. How do I can I upgrade to new version, but still keep all my old icons. I love the little onld jukebox icon.

    Thanx

You can change the icons for each file type using the "Folder Options" either from the Control panel or from a Windows Explorer window under Tools --> Folder Options. Click the "File Types" tab and scroll to your desired file extension. Click Advanced and then you can change the icon to whatever you want.

Thanx for speedy reply. I already knew of this choice, but I think that this only changes them one by one (please correct me if I am wrong). I want to be able to change them all (ie. all mp3 files will be the same in explorer and in mmc).

Re: I Want My Old Icons Back!! GOT-EM

THANX. I don't know where I got that idea that it only changed one file, but I was wrong. Sorry to be so cantankerous.

        Love my dbpowerAMP, :smile2:
