Beta: Real Audio Helix Encoder

A new generation of Real Audio Codecs is on the Horizon, this is the first (encoding standard real audio and real audio lossless).

Note: once out of beta continued usage of these codecs will require a license (royalties payable to Real). This beta codec will time out in June 2007 and become inoperative.

Real Audio Mp3 Encoder:

This is a VERY fast mp3 encoder, 4x faster than Lame it will encode at x100 normal speed on many computers (it is as fast, if not faster than the very old Gogo-no-gogo codec).

doesnt seem to work for me, when i open dbpoweramp it doesnt show the .rm file available to convert them, do you know why this is?

I think this codec is only an encoder, not a decoder. Check Codec Central for instructions on how to get a Real Audio decoder: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-realaudio.htm

so now that June has arrived and we can no longer encode RA files with the beta encoder, how can a license be obtained to utilize encoding thru dbpoweramp??
