    Connecting The Wires

I AM TRYING TO RECORD FROM A BOOM BOX CD PLAYER. I HAD IT RIGHT ONCE BUT FORGET HOW I DID IT. I WENT FROM THE PHONES JACK RIGHT TO THE PC,BUT I COULDNT HEAR THE SOUND. IT DID RECORD THO. I AM USING ADSTECH INSTANT MUSIC WHICH HASNT LET ME USE THE NERO SOUNDTRAXX PROGRAM BECAUSE OF THE "LICENSE I HAVE WILL NOT LET ME OPEN IT" CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN A FEW THINGS. 1. HOW DO I HOOK THE LINES OR RCA'S UP. 2. WHAT LICENSE ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT? I HAVE A KENWOOD AMP THAT I DID PLUG THE CD PLAYER INTO BEFORE WHEN I JUST LISTENED TO MUSIC. I AM REALLY STRUGGLING WITH THIS. IT SEEMS SO EASY,BUT I NEED HELP. :vmad:

    Re: Connecting The Wires

Are you trying to hear a cd played in your boombox through your pc's soundcard?

Doesn't your pc have a cd drive? if it does, play that cd on your pc instead.

If it's cassettes or radio you want to capture from your boombox, then it's different.

I don't know about the Nero Soundtraxx and Adstech issues. This forum is for dBpowerAMP products.

If you want to use dBpowerAMP Music Converter this is the place.

In that case you may need to refer to how to use dMC Auxiliary Input : http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=7318
