Do you mean this one? http://www.audiocoding.com/modules/n...id=187&forum=1
Check out Codec Central at http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp4.htm - All the AAC codecs are there.Last edited by ChristinaS; August 23, 2005, 05:28 AM. -
Re: Do you have an "eaac plus" codec?
Codecs can be for reading a format, for writing to a format or both.
Which are you trying to do?
I ask because eaac plus is a variation of High Efficiency AAC (or HE AAC) encoding (which I learned from Christina's excellent reference and the additional information available from their link here: http://www.audiocoding.com/modules/wiki/?page=HE+AAC ).
dB's AAC codec and mp4/m4a/Apple Lossless can read HE AAC encoded files, so you might want to start there. If that does not work, you might want to try one of the other available m4a decoders.
If you want to write to eaac plus, I'm not sure the dB codecs can do that. If you have Nero 5 or v6 you might want to try the Nero AAC codec.
If you do not have a player that can read eaac plus, you will not get any advantage from using it. If you do have a player that can read eaac plus it may well have its own software and you would probably be best advised to use that software.
Best wishes,
