How do I download and use freedb's db

I have downloaded the database but I don't know how to tell CD input to use the offline database instead of the online database. I am not going to have internet access on the cpu I use powerAMP. Also I might need to download a different filetype of the database than I have. Please help. thanx.

Open up Audio CD Input.
Click on Options.
Click on the line reading reading Freedb Server.
In the window that opens up click on the box that reads Offline.
Then click the button on the same as the bos and click set.
Browse to the location of your Freedb database. Then click on the button that reads ok.
Now the location of your Freedb database file should be in the box next to Offline. Click on the OK button.
You should now be back in the dMC Audio CD Input Options window and the location of your Freedb database file should be visible on the line that reads Freedb Server.
Then click on OK.
You should be set.

I am not sure what you mean by a different type of database so I am not sure whether that is possible or advisable. Please post more details if you have questions or need input on this,
