Unless the CD is a copy of a commercial CD, CDGRab cannot retrieve information about it from the internet. Try turning on "Read CD-Text" in Options --> CD Drive --> Advanced --> Read CD Text and see if that fixes it.

I assume you're not simply referring to accessing the freedb internet database to album/aartist/track infromation in order to name the ripped tracks that way. That may only work with a commercial cd, or an exact duplicate of one.

If your input cd rom drive or your burner cd drive don't support CD text you're out of luck, unless you're referring to freedb information.

Unless I've missed that option somehow, dMC Audio Input does not make exact copies of audio cd's. You will have to use something like Nero to make a copy and then hope that your drive also can write the CD text.

You will also need CD burning software that supports writing CD Text when creating the audio CD.
