    .dat to mp3

i have downloaded the files required for the .dat conversion but it looks like there is something wrong. What is happening is that the output file goes really fast as if it was being forwarded. Accordingly, the total time also reduces from the original time. I ll appreciate all answers...

Actually, it does the samething with all the conversions from the video type files to mp3 (lame). I just tried one .mpg file to mp3 and same problem....

      Re: .dat to mp3

There are several ways around this:

      1) try using dMC R11 from the beta section of the forum

      2) try using the mp3pro codec to decode

      3) try using the program VirtualDub explained in http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=21

      4) try using dMC Auxilairy Input and record the audio through the soundcard as the video is being played in WMp or whatever player you use. For recording through dMC Auxiliary Input refer to http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5362 paying special attention to your Volume settings for recording (how to enable the input from Stereo Mix or WHat U Hear) and the volume level.

i tried using the mp3Pro encoder and it gives the following error in the middle:-
        "Unable to run encoder 'C:\Program Files\THOMSON mp3PRO Audio Player\mp3PROplayer.exe'"
