Re: .ram video file to a file supported by win med player?
First of all .ram is the meta file, so it only points to the actual .rm file that is streamed. Second of all dMC does not convert video, and dAP does not play video. Thirdly if it comes from a streaming server (thus not using the http protocol, but rather something like rtsp), you won't be able to download it either, you can only watch it streamed.Originally posted by jassi_guriCan i convert .ram video file to a video file supported by windows media player ??Comment

Once you have your .rm video file on your pc, you could try one of these programs: http://www.rmconverter.com/ , http://www.mpgdvd.com/ .
Also check out this page which may have some answers: http://all-streaming-media.com/recor...g-software.htm , especially if the Real Media Video file can only be streamed and not be saved on your pc.
An interesting section is at http://all-streaming-media.com/recor...e-software.htm .Last edited by ChristinaS; October 26, 2004, 12:57 AM.Comment
