Hey, that looks very interesting. I'll have a go at it.

Do you have any useful tips on how to use it or is it easy enough?

      Re: streaming audio

I haven't tried saving streams with dbpower amp aux yet.

I have used StationRipper before. You can d/l up to 300 streams at the same time. I like the fact that it automatically saves the broadcasted file name (artist-song.mp3), artist/song/etc. ID tags for each streamed file, and will save each station's songs in their own subfolder identified by the radio station call sign (i.e. Magic Radio, ProFM, etc.) station; great for presorting songs (or from keeping low bit rates out of your main music folder). I use this feature because sometimes those hidden gems of a song are more easily found on sites that have lower bit rate streams.

Station ripper also has a mdb file that saves what songs have been downloaded so it won't re-record a song you have already & if you would like it to remember - it will remember any file you delete so it will skip d/l that file in the future.

Does dbpoweramp aux input save streamed music ID tags and automatically create file names of the songs?
If so I'd like to try it ... If not that would be something Id like.

        Also note to Spoon:

StreamRipper publishes its open source code. Perhaps this could be intigrated into dbPowerAmp in a future version? dbPowerStream

*lol* almost sounds like a name of a power washer or something

dMC Auxiliary Input - record from the soundcard as you play the stream through it. It doesn't care about the source.

Look for instrurctions in the FAQ section of the dMC forum at http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5362 .
