How to use the Ratings database field

Hi Everyone,
I've been using Asset UPnP for a year, installed on a Linux server. Music is played on my Onkyo receivers, controlled with the Onkyo app.
I would like to be able to set up favorites and have found that the server has a field for this: 'ratings'.
However can't see how to access/store/use my favorites.

You can browse by rating, so Additional >> Rating

4* and above as example

What I'm trying to do is select & save favorites. There is no way to do this in the Onkyo App.
How do I store the favorites on the Asset UPnP server?

You need an editing program to edit the ID Tags of the actual files, then asset can rescan those files.
