    RIP Audio from YouTube

Trying to rip audio from a series of YouTube videos {20's Jazz.com) and receiving the following error message. Having trouble understanding what I need to do. Can anyone offer some help? Grateful.

    Error converting to mp3 (Lame), 'C:\Users\Ken\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INet Cache\IE\77Z3ASBD\23235[1].html' to 'C:\Users\Ken\Music\20s Jazz\23235[1].mp3'
Error: Unable to load decoder for file type '.html', codec not installed? visit 'Codec Central'. [dBCoreConverter::dBCoreConverter]

    Re: RIP Audio from YouTube

You would have to download the YT video itself first and then to convert the video file. At the moment you try to convert the website to mp3 which can't work at all.

Thank you. Is that the only way to rip audio from Youtube? I was hoping there were other options. When error says "codec not installed' I assumed I would be able to install one. Not true?

You have saved the html web page, not the video or audio file.
