Hi,
I have a large library of wav files ripped with a Naim UnitiServe. The UnitiServe has just failed for the second time and I'm looking for an alternative upnp server.
Asset worked well with my flac library, but all of the albums in my naim wav library imported as thousands of tracks in 1 unknown album. I now learn that Naim wav files have their metadata in a separate, proprietary format xml file. I was told to rip everything as wav instead of flac as wav sounded better, but I now find that this may have been bad advice.
Is there way of getting Asset to deal with these files (I read on another forum that dbPowerAmp's wav metadata is the same as Naim's), or a tool to convert the wav files to flac along with Naim's metadata ?
Thanks,
Mark.
