Version of software

When I try to rip a CD using secure rip, I receive an error message telling me I am not registered.
Why is this happening?
How do I uninstall, then reinstall a new version?
Can you provide a link?

Version of software

In Oct 2016 I purchased R15 of the software. When I open the software to use now, it says I have release 16, beta 6.
When I try to rip using non burst settings, I get errors saying I'm not registered.
When I try to register, I'm asked to upgrade at cost.
Is this routine, that in order to keep using the software, I'm expected to pay?
Please advise.

If you own R15, you still can use R15. You have installed R16, beta 6.

If you like to use R16 instead, you have to upgrade and pay, if you're out of the grace period.

You are able to download R15 which is the version you have purchased.
