rip mp3 audiobook

I have an mp3 adiobook sourced from the US. Windows can play this fine so there is no issue with the CD itself. DBpoweramp will not read it and keeps asking for an audio CD to be inserted. Batch converter however will recognise it but won't convert it : each file is errored with "cannot open.. for writing" file sizes range from 530 KB to 20Mb. Any suggestions please ?

Check the destination path, if it exists and if you have write previliges.

Hi, thanks for the prompt reply: I already tried ripping a music CD to the same destination and it worked fine.

Do you use any tags to build the destination path, which might not be available for the audio book?

But stop: you say you have a disc with mp3 files on it? You can't rip such a disc, which is simply a data disc with files on it. You can only rip Audio CDs (red book standard). In your case you can simply copy the mp3 files to you disc. If you need them in a different codec you can convert them with the music or batch converter.

On the error page is a 'Copy to clipboard' button, click it and paste the error message here please.
