Track number insert after ripping

Hi and thanks for the great product and support.

I made the mistake of starting to rip all my cd's before reading the manual. grrrrrr

One small (or huge) problem. I forgot to add the track number in front of the track name. Is there a way to correct this after ripping?

Hopefully not re-ripping my collection.

ps: What is unpadded track number?

Unpadded is 1, 2, 3, padded is 01, 02, 03

Yes, after ripping a bunch of albums.

Can any of the dbpoweramp software help with this?

Hey Kobus,

you can use the dBpa DSP called Arrange Audio. Otherwise it is an easy and fast job with the free software mp3tag.

Thanks a lot, will try.

Luckily I see that my player still plays back in the correct order and not by alphabetical file name. Is it then neccecary to have the track number in the file name?

Not unless you have a player which is different.
