Upgrading to release 16

I have just purchased release 16 of dbpoweramp, and I am aware that I have to uninstall the previous version...
Do I also need to uninstall the 18 codecs that were also installed/upgraded?

Upgrading from which version? it sounds like you have 32 bit dBpoweramp installed, if so you have to uninstall the codecs also as they are incompatible with the 64 bit version.

I have release version 15.3. 64-bit installed....

You are able to just install Music Converter (uninstall the old converter first).
