    Playlists

New to streaming so please forgive stupid questions, etc. I'm in the process of binning my CDs in favour of streaming using Asset through Naim app, dbpoweramp to rip and a Naim streamer. Still deciding what NAS to buy so ripping to my iMac with the intent of transferring once NAS is sorted, etc. In iTunes, I have a number of playlists that I like, can I create playlists in Asset? I saw an option to Add too...new playlist so I thought I'd create one to see what happens. Bearing in mind I've only ripped two albums so far, asset found those two albums and put them in the newly created playlist repeatedly until I had 500 tracks of the same two albums. Moreover, the playlist didn't appear where I thought it would in Asset but actually on the Naim app user interface. I also can't see who to delete the playlist, any ideas?

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: Playlists

There are 3 different playlists here, iTunes, Assets usage of existing m3u playlists, and Naim playlists.

I am guessing you are seeing the latter, rather than Asset playlists.

      Re: Playlists

Aye, I think so. I've spent a good afternoon having a play and think I've got it. I don't have that many original playlists so it's not as if I have to create 100s of them. Once I've ripped the CD I can take a track out and create/add to a playlist on the Naim app and I've also worked out how to get an iTunes purchase across and add it as well. It's taking me a while, is there an easier way?

Products are working well so far, I'm 99.99% sure I'll buy!

      Thanks.

You should not create a playlist for each album (if I read you correctly), Asset lists the tracks in different ways to find.

No, not creating playlists of albums. I'm ripping albums normally but if I want to add a track from that album to my own playlist, the Naim app gives me that option.
