How can I add database to list or should I keep using my workaround?

    Hi,

First time poster here ... and a bit of a noob with this prog.

I've was wondering if there was a way to import metadata from other databases to the list of databases already in the system? I noticed that a particular cd was not recognized in DBPoweramp, but EAC was able to find it.

I did find that there's a workaround: I can take for instance the info from Discogs and change that a little bit (remove hyperlinks, replacing the present division by " - ", and join the data by using "=cel1&cel2"). By making a list like "artist - song" and copy-paste that into DBPoweramp by right-click --> Paste Track Titles From Clipboard it will paste the info in the right place (if I start with the first song in the first box). If it's a compilation, I have to tick the box at the top otherwise it will make a new folder for each band ...

I was wondering if there was a way to add more info into the prog, but using more divisions doesn't work ...

Am I on the right track? Or is there a way to add a database to the list and get the info from there?

    Cheers,

click the red label icon on the tool bar, perhaps another database had it correct, if not choose the green icon >> manual metadata search, then simply open a web browser, look in discogs for the right disc, if it says 'release' in the address it can be looked up automatically, simply copy the url to clipboard and it will appear in the manual search page, here is an example URL:
