macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally macOS will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. Ok, I'm new to this tech stuff and can't decode your simple instruction! I've got to privacy & security but don't know what >> Privacy & Security >> Full means! I decided to just buy the full version and have seen in the bottom left corner, next to CD Drive it says dsk2 [ATAPI -iHas124 W] but for some reason in settings.cd drive it says No drive selected.Comment

You should insert an audio CD, then look in those options, Choose 'Launchpad' >> SettingsComment

Hey Seneca, just chiming in, I had a similar issue before. Make sure the CD you're inserting is an actual audio CD (not a data disc or MP3 CD), or it won’t show up. Also, once it’s in, try quitting and reopening dBpoweramp; sometimes it just needs a refresh to detect the drive properly.Comment
