New to Reference/DBPowerAmp - Some Elementary Questions

First of all - Love this program. First time on the forum.
I realize some or all of this is probably old news - direction to the correct sites and threads is fine.
    REFERENCE:
How do I determine my current version of Reference? I believe 15.3 is after my initial download.
    How do I update?
Do I necessarily need to update?
During an update, will my configuration settings be saved and maintained?
    CODECS:
Do the codecs themselves need to be updated ever?
    Necessary?
    How?
    WIN 10
Is Reference compatible with Win 10?
During update to Win10, will my configuration settings be saved and maintained?

    Run Configure dBpoweramp.

You have to manually download the new version and install (same goes for codecs).

No, but new features/enhancements are added to new versions (same goes for codecs).

I believe so, but ALWAYS backup dBpoweramp settings before updating.
