    Composer

I’ve just started using a new Windows 11 lappy and find the ‘composer’ tag is appearing in all my edit ID tag lists. If I delete it, it simply reappears every time I go to edit tags. I seem to remember having this issue before but it is so long ago I have forgotten how to remove it. Please help rid me of this composer tag!

If it appears and it is blank, then it is just an empty placeholder, you can edit the default list:

dBpoweramp Control Center >> Advanced Options >> Default Tag Edit Fields

My default tag edit fields are: Artist, Title, Album, Track, Year, Genre, Disc and Album Artist only. Yet I still have this composer tag in Windows 11 I cannot get rid of - Windows 10 is OK

Where is this appearing? if you right click on a file >> Edit ID Tags (might be in a dBpoweramp menu item on Windows 11), or right click >> properties >> details

Right click on file > dBpoweramp > Edit ID Tags and then unwanted Composer tag is always the penultimate item in list. Your help is appreciated!

Perhaps a blank composer tag exists? Hold the mouse over the file and it will show if there is a composer tag.

There is no Composer tag if I hold the mouse over the file - just the tags as listed above in my default tag edit fields

Which version of dBpoweramp do you have? just tested R2025-7-7 and it works.
