I've been using Asset upnp on my WHS music server. I am in the process of reviewing and adding album art, and have used the Conversion facility to attach the jpeg album cover to all of the tracks of each album.
When i am browsing my albums via the Advanced Search / Folders & Filename Browsing / Music folder / artist / albums then i get a small jpeg of all the album covers beside the album name. When i click into the album then there is a large album cover reproduction on the left hand side and track listing on the right hand side.
Now i have bought a QNAP server and as far as i know i have set up all the options in the Setup section to match what i had chosen in the WHS music server.
I searching in the same way on my QNAP but i do not get the small jpeqs of each album when i look into the artist folder. There is just the an orange square with a music cleft and 5 bars. When i click through into the album, the art is there.
I find it really handy if i have 10 albums by an artist to see the small thumbnail jpegs as i immediately recognise the album, but it's not working that way on the QNAP server just now.
Can you help please? I can send you photos from my ipad if that would help clarify my query.
