    replace album art

    Hello all,

on the moment I keep myself busy with testing dBpoweramp or I will use it or not.
On the moment I have problems to replace the album art. I searched this site how to do this and found the solution by using Windows explorer.
Only problem is that it will not stay permanent. Checking the album afterwards shows that the old album art is still there.
Searching the internet I found on this forum: http://forums.naimaudio.com/topic/db...26037064478156 (its an older article) an answer
that free 21 day tryout version is not really a full version and that you have limited edit options is that still true?

no, the free trial is a full version. Regarding album art, I'm not sure why it is not working for you. On the ripper screen (assuming you are ripping a CD), lower right side, you have the album art section. If there is album art there you don't want, click the "-" above the art. Then it should be blank. If you want to let dbpa search for artwork, click "choose art" and it will search for artwork it thinks matches and let you choose. Or you can click the "+" button to add art of your choice from either your computer or from the internet.

thanks for your reply. That solved the problem. I did not click the "-" in dBpoweramp, I removed the album art with MP3tag and with the Edit ID-Tag in Windows Explorer.
both removed the art and if i checked the files all art was gone. However as soon as I started a file in VLC Mediaplayer I got the old art back.
      Seems to be OK now.

      Thanks for your answer
