Going in circles trying to reregister dB Poweramp on Mac

I've never had issues before reregistering, the few times I've had to do that. But after updating I'm getting an Expired Trial status on the bottom of the Control Center, so I go through all the steps to the purchase page and register retrieval link at the bottom. Click on that, put in my order number, but the Expired Trial text is still there with no blue text status visible.

    I'm stuck. Please help, thanks.

    See:

Normally when installing and upgrading dBpoweramp any changes in licences or updates will be applied automatically, however sometimes it requires manual input of the order number to update the control centre. Normally Control Centre would display: However if the display shows the incorrect number of days remaining, or:

Thanks for your time. I’ve followed that page as soon as I couldn’t reregister the first time, but my control center says Trial Expired, without anything else to click on, except the Register button on the right corner of the panel, which starts everything over (the download page, link for Registration Retrieval).

You have installed the trial version, visit the registration page, download the registered version and run it, then drag the icon to install it, when asked replace the existing version:

I have done exactly that each time. Always replacing. I’ll delete the newest install, restart, then try again. I’d rather not lose my profiles , hopefully that isn’t disturbed.

You might have more than one install, it is possible on the macOS

I searched for extra installs, there weren't any. So today I did the delete current install, restart, reinstall from the registration retrieval page, and... it worked this time.
              Oy vey.
Spoon, thanks for your help, and it's good to know MacOs "supports" more than one installation of this application, I didn't know that. I can resume burnination.
