For years I have been using EAC to rip all my CDs to FLAC. Now I am considering buying Dbpoweramp and PerfectTunes package to 1) replace my old EAC ripper, and 2) check all my FLAC files for accuracy and add cover art as needed.
I have a few questions first:
1. I run a MAC. I also run windows in my MAC (via VMWare), but I have an older version of windows (XP I think). From what I have read, DB/PT only runs on windows, but there might be a MAC version on the way. Does the current DB/PT run in my setup? Should I wait until the MAC version is available? Any suggestions?
2. Would I be able to run (batch) accuracy checks on my entire existing FLAC files? By batch, I mean, having an entire directory full of FLAC files checked at a time not one file at a time. I have about 10k FLAC files, so been able to do a batch check is a most for me.
Thanks!
