Wanted to confirm that info on this page re Apple Lossless codec still valid http://www.dbpoweramp.com/help/Codec/mp4/help.htm
Specifically, the "m4a Layout" "Optimize for Streaming" option.
I am merrily ripping away (200+ and counting) with R15 Reference 'package' (PerfectTunes, etc) and Nimbie hardware ripper. Overall going great but as plan to use Plex for remote access/playback, while researching stumbled across posts that talk about Plex not being able to playback Apple Lossless files unless they are optimized for streaming.
Unfortunately, not in front of my 'ripping station' right now, but I don't recall seeing this advanced option when configuring cd/batch ripper and selecting Apple Lossless. Concerned I may need to go back and batch process (using ??) all my rips if I happen to have 'missed' the option. Thanks
