    Need Help With MetaData

sorry if this has been covered before.

    I need help with metadata

I search a cd, online finds it (but its wrong)

I correct all the data to my standards :-)

then 2 months later I need to RE-rip the same cd. BUT dbpoweramp doesn't remember all my corrections and gives me the same wrong info online as the first time.
It's really bugging me ... never had this trouble using Nero.

so does anyone know how to fix this ???

    thanks in advance.

The manual changes you've made are local....they are not going to change the data you get from the online databases a couple months later. dBp does have a local cache, but it can't save every rip indefinitely.

But I too am curious.....why are you re-ripping your albums? Is there some (bigger) issue with your original rips?

You can make the cache bigger, however it was not designed to hold every cd in someones library, the option is meta drop menu >> Settings >> Local Cache Settings
