If I rip one song from a CD I get a sound at the beginning of playing the song like a stylus being dropped too heavily on to an LP. How do I stop this?

The player is a Cambridge 752 blue ray. Don't have this problem all the time. It occurs mostly on the first track when ripping a cd to flac

test as to whether it is the files or the player causing the problem. For example, play the FLAC album on another player (e.g., Foobar2000 on a PC or winamp or some other player).
