Change album art of a CD

So I just finished ripping a CD.

I now want to change the album art but I dont want to go through each file one by one.

How can I change the album art of all the files at once?

I have purchased and installed the dbpoweramp + perfectunes package version 14.4

Select all files >> right click >> edit id tags

There you can remove the art and add new.

Awesome! That is definitely very handy!

Btw, I wanted to ask, why does CD Ripper limit the album art resolution to 750x750?

Is that a limitation by a certain codec or the program itself?

CD Ripper defaults to this because certain players will not display large embedded art (such as Sonos systems). In CD Ripper you can change this to 1000x1000 or 1400x1400, it is on Options >> Metadata and ID Tag Settings

Ok cool!, just changed it to 1000x1000 and max size to 400kb (just in case).

Question: Can I make CD Ripper output the album art embedded in the music files as png (the picture format)?

I have noticed CD ripper automatically converts the picture selected as album art to jpeg, but I have always preferred png due to the higher quality over jpeg.

Or is it that there are restrictions involved?

I guess Ill just stick to jpeg

One thing though, I use PixResizer to modify my pictures/photos whenever needed.

I have realized that a scanned album art converted from 3000x3000 bmp to 750x750 jpeg using PixResizer has better quality than the conversion CD Ripper does.

Not exactly sure what is going on there...

If you consider that a CD case is some 4 inches, 300 dpi would be 1200x1200, or 1400x1400 any higher and you can start scanning the weave of the paper, which will degrade the overall image quality.

                  Interesting

I always scanned stuff at 600dpi for best quality. I'll keep in mind what you just mentioned.

Must thank you for your fast responses and great support. Definitely worth every cent I paid for your programs. Keep it up!
