Track Padding & Album Artist Tags

    Hi

This is my first post, I've had a good look around and cannot seem to find the answer, so hopefully somebody can help me.

I've been using the ID Tag Update, but want to have it automatically pad track no's so that instead of 1,2,3 etc it's 01,02,03

Also want to add the Album Artist Tag if not present, but tell it if so it also puts the artist in or various artist etc.

I just don't know or cannot work the formula out....

But have to say it really is an AWESOME program.... totally love it... just wish I had brought it much sooner..... HEY Ho

    Many Thanks

    Daz

I am not sure you can do this easily, it is possible though:

The utility codec [ID Tag Update] (R4 or later) and the DSP effect ID Tag Processing (R10 or later) contain an option Externally Script Tags Externally scripting allows tag actions to take place which could not otherwise be accommodated in dBpoweramp, the scripting language (in this example uses VB Scripting) can do almost

you will need R4 from here:

These installs contain both 64 bit install (for dBpoweramp R15 beta 64 bit) and 32 bit installs. By default the install will match your dBpoweramp (32 bit or 64 bit). Thanks for the prompt reply

Looks complicated, so I guess I will just have to carry on manually, but I will have a look at the Wavepack and see if I can get anywhere.... as spending a few hours to get it right on that would be fair better than spending the next few months doing it manually.

Still very impressed with the program and many options and support.

Maybe someone else already has the same problem and will post the formula :-)

          Thanks

          Daz :-)
