Do you really want id3 tags in Flac files or are you just interested in having metadata tags in flac files. Some programs can write id3 tags in flac files, but this is not correct. Flac files use vorbis tags for containing metadata. dbpa correctly writes vorbis tags, including embedded album art.

I have been using dbpoweramp for over three years and I always have to use Easy tag to add album art to Flac vorbis tag.
If I do not update Flac vorbis tags the front cover album art will not be displayed in yamaha network player app.

dbpa will embed artwork in flac vorbis tags. Have you setup dbpa settings to tell it to do so?
in dbpa Ripper, select the OPTIONS button, then the "options button" next to "metadata and ID tag", then scroll down to "write ID tags" section and tick the box next to "album art". This will embed the album art that you see on the CD ripper main page to your flac tags.

(and I'm still confused as to why you are mentioning ID3 tags. Are you trying to use ID3 tags in addition to FLAC vorbis tags?)

Yes I have and I did not work for me.
If I edit flac files with easy tag there is no album art attached.
However the EAC does add Flac vorbis and ID3 tags with album art.

hmmm. it should work so something odd is happening. When you say it does not work, are you getting an error message of any sort? And its a very bad idea to add ID3 tags to a flac file as this is NOT standard. You'd be better off trying to figure out why you can't embed artwork using dbpa.
