Problem having wav.files to display International ID Tag.

    Hi,
I am experiencing problems for my wave files to read/display international ID tags (Japanese/Chinese characters).
Is there any way to solve this problem by changing it directly from the files instead of re-ripping all the cds again?

    Thank You.

Wave files do not have a broad standard for unicode characters, the WAVE LIST tags cannot contain unicode.

dBpoweramp also writes an ID3 v2 tag chunk for the wave file which can hold unicode, but Windows Media Player will not read this tag.

It does do by default, it writes ID3v2 and WAVE list.
