AssetNas trouble

Hello to everybody !!!!

I just bought the Assetnas, it's a very nice and silent machine and I like it, but now I have a problem to solve.

I copied all my music into the Assetnas Home Server but the PlugPlayer cannot see my foder and my tracks, I mean it is all empty.
The only way to see the music that is on the Assetnas, it is using the AssetUPnP but I don't like this sistem, because I'm obligated to switched on the computer every time I want to listen the music (!?!?)

I really hope you can help me to enjoy this new machine.

You have copied the music to the music network share?

Well, under Network there are 2 folders:
ASSETNAS and PC.
I clicked on Assetnas and 5 other folders appeared, I clicked on Music folder and copied there all my music.

You have installed the Windows Home Server software onto your PC so you can open the dashboard to the AssetNAS? once there you can look at the Asset tab to see its status.

I don't thing that when I bought my computer has this license included (or maybe I lost).

Is it something that usually you have to purchase later ? And if yes which version do I have to buy ?

Maybe I wasn't enought clear, mine is a pc running Windows 7.

The software comes with Windows Home Server, you should be able to install it by typing name of the nas into internet explorer.

Sorry do you mean that my pc with Windows 7 has also the Windows Home Server in the box ?
I spent a lot of money (1 akurate 1 Majic 1 Sekrit 1AssetNas) and I cannot ear without the pc switched on ..... Ehmm I really would like to solve this problem.

Ok I got it, now I have the dashboard installed on the AssetNAS.

I click on Server Folders and there are 6 folders:

D:\ServerFolders\Client Computer Backups
D:\ServerFolders\Documents
D:\ServerFolders\Music
D:\ServerFolders\Pictures
D:\ServerFolders\Recorded TV
D:\ServerFolders\Videos

Inside the Music folder there are my Folders with tracks, but once I go on the Kinsky to look on the Library and open the Music folder and than in All Music folder, nothing is inside .... why ?

There should be a Tab on the dashboard labeled 'Asset' is there?

There is tab Asset Upnp but not only Asset tab

I would perhaps ask the dealer who sold you this unit, to visit and help you set it up.

Sound difficult because I bought this Assetnas online in Uk, and I live in Italy ....
Maybe the Tab AssetUpnp that now is pointing the disc D that is situated inside the Pc I should change it and point the Assetnas disc ?

For the Asset Tab inside the dashboard, select 'Advanced Configuration'

In the top left the library section needs to contain: D:\ServerFolders\Music

(which is the folder on the NAS)
