Forgive me for the novice question.
Started ripping my CD collection using dbPA into FLAC loss less.
Dragged some folders from my hard drive onto a thumb drive.
Plugged thumb drive into my TV's media player.
Started playing music but two things were not right:
When playing CDs like Todd Rundgren's "Liars" or Chick Corea's "Electrik Band" the songs are on separate tracks but audibly run into the next track. This is a desired attribute.
When I played back my ripped FLAC files there is an annoying, abrupt silence gap inserted in between tracks; the music does not flow from one song to the next as the artist / producer desired.
I do not want to rip my CDs into one continuous track. Want the tracks as are on the CD so I can locate a particular song but still enjoy the seamless audible transition between songs.
The second issue was I could not see any data on my Panasonic Viera TV's media player screen. I'm thinking this my be due to Panasonic Vierra and not anything missing from the FLAC lossless files I ripped from CD.
1. Can I perform a rip that provides seamless audible transition between songs when I rip my CDs using dbPA without making the entire CD's individual tracks one contiguous track?
2. Can I do a batch repair to the several dozen CDs I already ripped to make a seamless audible transition between songs? or do I have to re-rip those?
3. I'm not keen on tweaking the software with command line codes, etc. to make this happen; just check a box and rip away....
4. How do I get media players (on my Panasonic TV or others) to display track information and album artwork?
