Using an external hard drive

I have a large cd collection that I would like to digitalise but I don't want to clutter up my laptop hard drive. Is it possible to save my cd's using dbpoweramp to an external hard drive?

You can, you select the location tracks are saved to in the lower left (Path >> Set)

That's great news thanks. If I wanted to save my music in more than one location, is that possible? i.e for back-up purposes.

Set the encoder as Multi Encoder, add the same encoder twice with different output paths (set in multi encoder).
