    Re: Library management

Spoon - scanned and fixed all duplicates, low res to high res, appears all albums have art - very nice. However one tweak - is there a way to ensure all album art is embedded? I am using a Passport Edge Drive via USB in a car. The iDrive system is finicky and if there is album art in the ID Tag, it displays it, but not in a folder. The 20-30 albums that are definitely embedded all display nicely. I manually searched for art via Win Explorer to get the ones that do work. This was the point of doing this because the folder art works fine on the PC and the streaming home network.

Can I re-scan with a command to embed album art in each track?

Thanks so much for your help - I'm getting there.

PerfectTUNES will always embed art, with dBpoweramp you can install the utility codec [ID Tag Update] then convert your files to this codec with the option to import folder.jpg set.

        Re: Library management

Thanks sooo much for the assistance.

I now have Perfect Tunes. WMA lossless format, High Resolution Art, ~ 10,000 songs on a Passport Edge 500 Gb drive connected via USB to my car. Duplicates gone (usually mutiple file formats), Corrupted files gone. It's like a wellness program for my Tunes!

        Perfect Tunes

        Scanned the library ~ 7hrs.
        Corrected/Imported Album Art ~ 3 hrs
Batch converted in dBPA with ID tag manipulation to import art to folder ~3 hrs.
Copy to USB drive ~ 4hrs.

I now know I probably could have done this even faster, but I'm thrilled with the results!

The iDrive system for BMW requires the embedded art and certain formats. The manual states you cannot use a HDD via USB - but you can. The drive should be NTFS, FAT did not work. There are other forums for BMW where the people have given up or accepted highly compressed MP3s, mupltiple flash drives, no art.

Good place to sell this product! Solves all the issues!!!!!!!
