How do I do fixed value tags?

If I have 100 CDs by the same artist and I don't want to retype the artist name 100 times (and I don't want to use the metadata provider's multiple variations of the artist name) how can I set the artist field to default to the value I want to give it?

    Thanks

Have you ripped these CDs or are you about to rip them?

Haven't ripped yet, but I wouldn't mind knowing how to do both. Thanks!

In CDRipper use the Character / Word replacement feature found in the options (Options>Meta data & ID Tag>Character / Word replacement).

I use MP3Tag to bulk edit tags post ripping.
