I have ripped all of my CD's using dbpowwramp. Great product! I know wwant to create a copy of all my music in an AAC format to use on iPods, etc. I downloaded the encoder and decoder from Codec Central and Nero. I tested 2 albums and concerted to AAC CBR 320. The files seemed to convert correctly, however, it simply named each track with the artist and track title. When I right click on the track and select properties, all of the metadata is gone. It simply kept the artist and tract title in the file name.

I just wanted to say that I just installed the Nero codec and just tried converting from flac to aac for the first time as well. When I listen to the album in Foobar2000 on Win 7, I see all the metadata perfectly. My guess is that the original FLAC file didn't contain correct metadata to begin with. You should verify that the original FLAC files were properly tagged.
Also, perhaps you should explain what program you are using to open the track and check properties. I have looked at properties both in Windows Explorer -- right click properties --> details and in Foobar2000 and in MP3tag.
I'm not saying I know everything about AAC. I just figured out how to install the codec an hour ago. -

To check the properties of the track, I am right clicking on the track in Windows Explorer, On the original FLAC file all of the metadata is correct. On the AAC file I converted, all of the metadata is blank.Comment

The AAC encoder writes .aac files, with no tags.
You need the m4a Nero (AAC) encoder which puts in a .m4a file with tags.Comment
