Idiot not sure what he has got or how to operate

Hi Guys,
I have downloaded:
dMC-R14.2-Ref-Registered
dBpoweramp-Renaissance
dBpoweramp-CDWriter

I have no idea what I have.

I want to rip my CD's and buy music on the net & listen to the music.... How can I? Have I bought the right stuff

A mate told me this was easy and the right stuff.... I am totally confused

dMC-R14.2-Ref-Registered this is what you need for ripping CDs, run the program dBpoweramp CD Ripper.

Our player is perhaps not as easy as you are thinking (it is a upnp player), instead try something like foobar - www.foobar2000.org
