    Create AAC from FLAC

Similar to a previous question of mine, I'd really like to convert my FLAC files to Apple's lossy AAC.

Many people have steered me toward using MP3, but I'd still really like to convert to APple's own format for use with iTunes.

I've tried downloading some plugins, but I'm not really getting anywhere.

Does anyone have any tips, or are there any step by step instructions for this?

You would need the m4a Codec from Codec central, then follow the help as show after install exactly.

Is that m4a Release 14 r2 or m4a Nero AAC Encoder Release 1, or actually everything listed on that page?

Both those, the m4a is the decoder and the m4a Nero AAC is the encoder.

dbpoweramp can do this. Or just use a player like foobar2000 or winamp or VLC to play the FLAC files.
