Playing FLAC files

Having recently purchased db poweramp reference 14 I have been saving my cd's as FLAC files. I also downloaded db poweramp audio player. Audio player ddoes not recognise any cd's saved as FLAC files but recognises mp3's. Please does somebody have a step by step guide to the process I need to follow to enable me to play FLAC's on pb audio player.

not sure, but db audio player is not updated any longer. You'd likely be better off using foobar2000 as a player. Install it and the facets component and you'll find it a very useful player of ALL audio file types.
