    Batch tagging

I looked in the archives but didnt find anything related.

How do I batch tag my collection to change the album names on all my files.

For instance I would like the Album name to be changed from "Album Name" to "Artist: Album Name"

Kind of new to batching so a simple explanation would be great as well as the code.

Have been doing it manually in mp3 tag, but with 2500 disks there must be an easier way.

    Thanks!

You could try [ID Tag Update]

    rule based manipulation >> set

    IF album=[anyvalue]
    SET album=[artist]: [album]

      Thanks Spoon that works great.

      One other question though.

How did I get it to do a whole folder that has sub folders in it. I could only get the conversion to happen when selecting individual FILES. I would like to just select the main music folder and have it just change all the files in all the folders.

      How can this be done???

      Thanks.
