Album Art - Is is mandatory to have them id idTag?

I have ripped a lot of CDs and I just see in Asset Control that some of them don't have album art.

I go on the internet and drop the image in the appropriate album folder as "folder.jpg" but they still don't show in Asset Control.

Do the album art have to be integrated in the idTag for them do be displayed ?
