What version of tags does DBPoweramp uses?

To edit/update tags I am using DBPoweramp's "Edit ID-Tag", MediaMonkey and windows 7. Depending what I am doing and where its possible to do it easily.

Am I creating a mess here of my Tags? Because I am not sure if all these software use same version of tagging?

Please advice if this mix & match is ok?

Depends which audio format you are tagging.

I am tagging Flac and then using batch converter to convert them to MP3, I don't edit tags on MP3 mostly.

FLAC uses Vorbis Comments, there is no version for these
mp3 uses ID3v2.3
