How do sort rips by genre first, then name of artist?

Have over over 2300 rips from EAC sorted into about 60 plus genre folders. Upgraded EAC and in went really bad. Now using dbpoweramp but have been unable to get it to sort new rips into already established genre folders as it sorts a new rip into a new older under the artist name and ignores genre altogether.

How do I insert genre into the naming scheme where it takes first priority?

add:

[genre]\

to the front of the naming string
