Convert from Apple Lossless To FLAC

    Hello All

In my house I own a squeezebox, two macs, one HP EX495 WHS, an apple tv and XOOM Tablet.

My itunes library 200 plus cd's is made of Apple Lossless Files and stored on both Mac as well EX 495.

Unfortunately I cannot play these songs on Xoom, as Apple lossless is not supported. I love my XOOM and so no way going to get an IPAD.

Now can any one help me understand how I can convert all my files to FLAC and also keep the originals still in place.

    Any suggestions please

Install dBpoweramp, use the 'Batch Converter' select your main folder where all the artist sub-folders are contained, and click convert.

Set the output to Original Folder, choose FLAC encoder and click convert.

Thanks a ton. Does DB Poweramp work on Mac or should I be installing this on WHS.

      Thanks again.

You would have to install on WHS and use remote desktop to work it.
