remove 2 sec pause between tracks??

If a producer makes a disc with a certain expression to it, and people like dbpoweramp go to great lengths in making the music loss less, then why adding 2 sec. pause between the tracks ????

I googled 'dbpoweramp 2 sec pause' and got a thread from 2002 saying 'you cant disable that in dbpoweramp - sorry'

9 years gone by, something new must have happened?

So, HOW DO I DISABLE DBPOWERAMP FROM ADDING 2 SEC SILENCE BETWEEN TRACKS?
