Streamer not seeing band and album details

Streamer: Naim Unitiqute all in one streamer/dac/amp via Wifi
Ripping drive:Plextor in desktop pc ether'd to router
    NAS: D-link 323 (fw 1.08) / 2 Samsung 1tb in Raid 1 ether'd to:
    Router: BT Homehub2
Controller: iPod touch 2 (latest fw) & Naim controller app

Using FLAC and itunes aac music plays ok showing track name on streamer, but album and band is displayed as "other". Controller app does same and doesnt display artwork for either FLAC or itunes aac files. The one downloaded album I have does show band and album but not artwork

Naim's tech guy says he uses dBPoweramp and all is ok but that the streamer is a "dumb animal" working with what the upnp server sends it. The NAS setup only lets me switch the uPnP on or off and tell it where the files are. I can choose an album as they are stored in a Band/ablum tree but not obviously by any other tag

All tags and artwork looks ok in dBpoweramp and artwork

    All help much appreciated

To isolate as the NAS upnp server being the problem, install Asset UPnP on your PC and point at the files on the NAS, then have the Naim browse and play a track served by Asset.

      Thanks Spoon.

Installed Asset uPnP on the XP desktop and it now streams all the band/album details to the Naim Unitiqute (not tested other tags) and also the artwork to the App

I'm a bit disappointed as the D-Link 323 is on Naim's "tested and working" list albeit with a previous firmware version 1.07 (mine has 1.08)

Excuse my ignorance nut is there a way of installing Asset on the D-link NAS or a way of accessing its 2x1tB drives for storage without having to have the desktop (which has only 160gb) booted and logged into XP?

Do all NAS use Linux or are there any cost effective ones that come with Asset or it can be installed on as I am hooked on the idea of Raid 1 backup?
