Deleting tags using rule based manipulation

I have configured the CD Ripper with the Tag Processing DSP to convert 'Album Artist Sort' to ALBUMARTISTSORT for my FLACs, and then delete Album Artist Sort. However, I don't want it to write ALBUMARTISTSORT for compilations (where it gets set to 'Various Artists'). Can I use the 'rule based manipulation' component of the Tag Processing DSP to do this? The basic example offered is IF tagname=xyz SET tagname=abc. I need something like IF ALBUMARTISTSORT=Various Artists DELETE ALBUMARTISTSORT ... is it possible?

Not possible to conditionally delete on the if.
