    Sveta

Have recently purchased and downloaded dBpoweramp Reference pack and trial version of Sveta. Downloaded driver for Ipod and Sveta recognises my iPod Nano G5, but shows no content. When I run Extras> iPod Properties> Search for Lost Files all I get is a message saying svetaexplorer.exe has encountered difficulties and needs to close? I am new to dBpoweramp and to Sveta. Can you advise please?

Sveta for the iPod has not been updated for many years, the latest ipods are not supported.

      Re: Sveta

Thanks for the information. Do you intend to update it in the future, or should I look elsewhere? Can you recommend any other good programme that will enable me to easily edit tags? iTunes seems to make a dog's dinner of tagging and organisation. I would much prefer an explorer based programme. File conversion on the fly, no problem, not needed now that I have dbPoweramp. Also can you please advise how to import artwork that I have scanned into my destination files AFTER I have ripped a CD to flac using dbPoweramp. And is there a good recommended resolution and format to scan at/in? My scanner offers me pdf and jpg, at either 300 or 600 dpi. Appreciate your experience and advice. Thank you.

        Re: Sveta

Apple went to war against 3rd parties from touching their iPods, encrypting the database, etc - we took the decision if apple want to shut out 3rd parties, so be it, let them (to the detriment of themselves).

            Re: Sveta

The ID Tag Update codec can be used to import album art into files if that is what you require. If you use it with the Batch converter you can update a lot of files at once.

                Wayne. You say

The ID Tag Update codec can be used to import album art into files if that is what you require. If you use it with the Batch converter you can update a lot of files at once.

I downloaded the ID Tag Update codec and then searched high and low in the help files as to how to update the artwork either using the Music Converter or Batch Converter, but cannot discover how to change the artwork.

Would you mind running me through the process?

                Sorry for the trouble.

                Thanks
